Women and Gender Equality Canada
We built an interactive microsite for WAGE that pulled real-time search data through an API connected to a widely used SEO platform. It tracked what people were actually asking online about gender-based violence—covering issues like financial abuse, emotional manipulation, and coercion. The data was grouped into themes, with each question answered by experts from a network of NGO partners, bringing trusted insights to real concerns.
What made this unique was how it turned live search behaviour into a dynamic resource. Instead of static content, users explored evolving questions with expert answers, shining a light on often-ignored forms of abuse. It was the first time this kind of tech had been used to make the full spectrum of gender-based violence this visible and interactive.
