Women and Gender Equality Canada
A microsite that pulled real-time search data about gender-based violence (GBV) and tracked what people were actually asking online—questions about financial abuse, emotional manipulation, and coercion. The data was grouped into themes, with each question answered by experts from a network of NGO partners.
What made this unique was how it turned live search behaviour into a dynamic resource. Instead of static content, users explored evolving questions with expert answers, shining a light on often-ignored forms of abuse. It was the first time this kind of tech had been used to make the full spectrum of gender-based violence this visible and interactive. Sadly, this version never made the cut.
